BCCI Sets New Base Price for Jersey Sponsorship
CricDiary: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has increased the base price for the Indian team’s lead sponsorship. It’s above what the outgoing sponsor Dream11 was paying. Industry insiders reveal that the new reserve price is set at ₹3.5 crore for bilateral matches and ₹1.5 crore for multilateral fixtures, such as International Cricket Council (ICC) and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tournaments.
The revised jersey sponsorship rates are higher than the current ₹3.17 crore for bilateral and ₹1.12 crore for multilateral games, marking a hike of over 10 percent and three percent, respectively. The difference in pricing reflects brand exposure like logos appearing on players’ chests during bilateral games, while in ICC an ACC events, they are restricted to the sleeves, reducing visibility.

BCCI plans to award the sponsorship for three years, covering around 130 games, including the 2026 T20 World Cup and the 2027 one-day-international (ODI) World Cup. Based on the new rates, the board may earn more than ₹400 crore.
The bidding process is scheduled for 16 September, ruling out any chance of a new sponsor before the 2025 Asia Cup that starts on 9 September.
